Assessment of administration competencies was an opportunity for West Coast College of TAFE lecturers to enhance their assessment skills. The project used a workbased learning approach to enable staff to investigate issues arising from assessing in a range of contexts, develop an assessment instrument template and a series of holistic assessment scenarios reflective of current industry practices, and to trial assessments of existing competencies and make required modifications.
