Internship is an educational activity which has the advantage of teaching students how to apply the knowledge and concepts they have acquired in the classroom thus achieving a thorough learning of the subject matter. The scope of this study is to examine the level of students' satisfaction from the internship program provided by the Department of Sport Management, University of Peloponnese in Greece. Questionnaire analysis was performed from a sample of students who have completed their internship and evidence revealed that 60 per cent of respondents were satisfied with the internship program and more than 65 per cent believe that the experiences gained from the internship will be significant for their future employment. Overall, students perceived the internship program as a significant feature of the curriculum and a mechanism that enhances future career potential.
