Abstract:

This report investigates employer perspectives of workforce training, across three industries (red meat processing, road freight transport, and international freight forwarding) in both urban and regional areas. The findings provide an insight into the factors which influence employers' training decisions and practices. The report is one part of a larger suite of research, which broadly examines employer-supported training in Australia.
