Medical education in Ireland: a new direction

This report reviews the current state of primary medical education in Ireland, and proposes a coherent reform program addressing student intake numbers and entry mechanisms, educational programs and curricula, teaching methods, clinical training, funding, oversight structures, and other issues relating to the organisation and delivery of undergraduate medical education and training.
