Performing industry skills need assessment and developing technical packages: using DACUM job analysis to build a skilled workforce capable of meeting industry needs

This research Fellowship aimed to explore the unique industry needs assessment technique (DACUM Job Analysis) for the identification of skills required for the building and construction industry in Australia. Together with the relevant industry bodies the author aimed to apply the knowledge and skills gained from DACUM job analysis to develop strategies for conducting industry needs assessment and improving curriculum and training components for the industry.
