Survey of employers' policies, practices and preferences relating to age
Following the European Employment Directive, the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 outlawing age discrimination in employment and vocational training came into force in the UK in October 2006. These regulations made unjustified age discrimination in employment and vocational training unlawful.
