E-learning: Australia's achievements in education and training
Australia has gained international recognition for its national achievements in developing state-of-the-art shared online content and services for schools, vocational education and training (VET) and higher education. This paper describes successful initiatives that have been undertaken in several areas including national collaboration, web based services, standards and interoperability, and the creation of international strategic alliances. However, many challenges remain and the author touches on future issues for e-learning in Australia.
