Black employees workplace training non-participation
This paper draws from PhD research in progress which examines Black Visible Minority (BVM) administrative employees' workplace training participation (WTP)/non-participation in Canadian universities. While there is a plethora of research on the determinants of WTP, what is rarely measured is which racial group is gaining or not gaining access to these training opportunities, the reasons and the implications for those who do not receive training.
