Podlet: Workplace literacy

Workplace literacy encompasses the skills required by employees to perform their everyday duties. Along with reading, writing and numeracy, these skills can include the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers, read work documents, keep accurate records, use technology, and thinking skills. The research related to this topic may also use the terms: essential skills, functional literacy, workplace literacy and numeracy, and 21st century skills.
