The 17th Australian Vocational Education and Training Research Association Conference (AVETRA) Conference was held on 22-24 April 2014 at the Outrigger Hotel, Surfers Paradise, Queensland. The theme was 'Informing changes in vocational education and training (VET) policy and practice: the central role of research'.
