Podlet: Technological literacy

The world we live in is increasingly technological. Building on the third industrial revolution, which used electronics and information technology to automate production, the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) is the next phase and refers to the current trend towards ‘big data’, artificial intelligence, smart factories, and a new generation of technologies. More than ever before is the need to be technologically literate, to be able to understand, use and manage technology. Achieving technological literacy helps individuals achieve educational and career goals and participate in society.
