Podlet: Older workers

The age at which a person may be considered an older worker is not definitive in the literature on this topic. Statistically, an older worker is generally considered to be a person engaged in either part-time or full-time employment who is over the age of 55. Research in this area may however include workers from 40 years of age, or refer to people working beyond traditional retirement age.
