Postsecondary education and training is typically binary, meaning that it is organised and delivered across two sectors: vocational education and training (VET) or further education (FE); and higher education (HE). However, a growing number of 'dual-sector' institutions now deliver both VET/FE and HE qualifications. These institutions are also known as mixed-sector or cross-sector providers.
