Does the work-study combination among youth improve the transition path?
The ILO School-to-work transition surveys (SWTS) provide an opportunity to study this transition in 28 countries. The objective of the present technical brief is to reflect on the role played by the work-study combination in the transition to stable and satisfactory employment, and to simultaneously provide a discussion on the adequacy of the survey design and implementation to address this question.
