Indigenous Australians in the labour market: historical trends and future prospects
Indigenous Australians as a group occupy a well-documented position of economic marginality in Australia. Even though totalling a small proportion of the population (less than 2 per cent) their low economic status bedevils policy makers and continues to appear intractable.
