This report follow up ‘Help wanted: projections of jobs and education demand through 2018’, in which the connections between educational attainment and educational demand in the US labor market were examined. This report updates the jobs projected to be available through 2020, using a macro-micro modeling framework to forecast educational demand by detailed occupations. The methodology is grounded in a macroeconomic analysis of the overall economy with state-by-state analyses.
