Practice based research and critical pedagogy: rethinking teacher education for vocational educators

This paper considers the unique features and contexts of vocational teaching and how these influence and shape vocational teacher education. A study of the use of videoing as a learning and practice based strategy is presented as a prompt to rethinking the roles of the vocational educator.
