Competency completion: an examination of the successful strategies of apprentices with a learning disability

In this paper, the author examines factors and strategies that contribute to apprentices with learning disabilities successfully completing their training. Examination of the literature indicates that students with strong support networks and positive personal characteristics are more likely to persevere in pursuit of their goals despite barriers.
