The National Science Foundation's [NSF's] Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) program is specifically designed to address obstacles and increase the number of underrepresented minorities (URMs) completing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) doctoral degrees and entering the professoriate.
