This report has been produced by the Skills and Labour Market Research Unit (SLMRU), FAS, on behalf of the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs (EGFSN) at the request of the Department of Health and Children. The report describes the models developed by the SLMRU for 12 selected healthcare occupations. It illustrates the usefulness of these models by simulating alternative scenarios of demand and supply for each occupation.
