Academic staff development in higher education
The paper is an appraisal study of the refresher courses in social sciences and humanities conducted at the Centre for Professional Development in Higher Education, Delhi University, which was established under the scheme of academic staff orientation of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The period covered under the study was four years from January 1991 to December 1994.
