Youth health and welfare: the cultural politics of education and wellbeing

This publication presents a critical, policy and practice-oriented inter-disciplinary perspective on the changing nature of young people's lives and how this affects their health and wellbeing. It draws on the latest research from a range of Australian and international sources. The chapters provide an introduction to current debates and theoretical ideas, an analysis of key health and wellbeing issues, the challenges for health and education professionals and the ways in which health and educational approaches frame youth.
