How to make a food safety plan: a self-help guide for owners or operators of food businesses

Recent legislation requires all businesses that handle food to have a Food Safety Plan and this guide aims to assist owners and operators of businesses to develop such a plan. In three sections it covers: how to make process flow diagrams that show the way staff members work with food to make food products; what hazards are and how to find them; and how to check safety controls and how to fix common food safety problems. The main points are illustrated by case studies showing examples of businesses using different kinds of processes to make the food products they sell.
