Administering and supervising occupational education

The authors focus on different dimensions of occupational education leadership: the human dimension; the task dimension; and the environment dimension. They emphasize areas which are unique to occupational education leadership and as well as dealing with areas that are common to most forms of educational leadership. They begin the work with basic theory and expand upon this in later chapters by showing leadership in applied settings. A feature of this work is that is deals with both administration and supervision and shows that these roles are often shared in leadership positions.
