This report describes a case study that provides a detailed assessment of skill needs and the extent and impact of skill deficiencies within the banking, finance and insurance sector. The product-market strategies of the case companies, the skill implications of these strategies, and how skill needs are being satisfied are identified. An analysis is made on this evidence to determine skill deficiencies in these companies and the impact on organisational performance.
