Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions 2021-2025 strategic plan

The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) is focused on Victoria's economic recovery and growth, ensuring it benefits all Victorians - by creating more jobs for more people, building thriving places and regions, and supporting inclusive communities. One of the groups with DJPR is the Employment and Inclusion group which supports people into employment, boosts labour supply and helps to build a more economically- and socially-inclusive Victoria. Through Jobs Victoria, the group supports people looking for work and helps employers find the staff they need to grow their businesses.

DJPR's strategic priorities for 2021-2025 are: (1) Create and maintain jobs; (2) Foster a competitive and fair business environment; (3) Strengthen Victoria's global connections; (4) Build prosperous and liveable precincts, suburbs and regions; (5) Grow vibrant, active and creative communities; (6) Support the transition to a sustainable economy; (7) Facilitate resilience and shared economic prosperity; and (8) Foster a fair and inclusive society.
