Transformative learning: theory to practice
The theme of this issue is 'Transformative learning in action: insights from practice'. Selected chapters are indexed from TD/TNC 64.142 to TD/TNC 64.144. This chapter summarises the transformation theory of adult learning, explains the relationship of transformative learning to autonomous, responsible thinking (viewed as the central goal of adult education), and discusses practical implications for educators.
