Bendigo Kangan Institute annual report [2014-2024]

On 23 May 2014 the formal announcement took place that Kangan Institute and Bendigo TAFE had agreed to merge. The Premier of Victoria announced that the state had allocated $38.65m from the TAFE Structural Adjustment Fund (TSAF) to assist with the integration process. The amalgamation of Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute was completed under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006. On 1 July 2014 Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute merged and the legal name of the merged entity is Bendigo Kangan Institute.

Kangan Institute is a flexible and innovative place of learning. With over 30,000 enrolments annually, Kangan Institute helps build the skills, knowledge and confidence of individuals across Victoria, in Australia and overseas. The annual report is the principal medium through which Bendigo Kangan Institute communicates its accountability to the Victorian Parliament and stakeholders, and provides a summary of the Institute's operations and achievements during each calendar year.
