North Regional TAFE annual report [2016-2024]

Pilbara Institute and Kimberley Training Institute were amalgamated to form North Regional TAFE (NRT) in April 2016. The 2016 annual report provides an account of the newly established NRT.

NRT is the largest provider of training and vocational services in the north of Western Australia, servicing industries across a region exceeding one million square kilometres. NRT has 11 campuses, from Wyndham in the north to Newman in the south, with the College's three largest delivery centres at Broome, Karratha and Pundulmurra (South Hedland). The College delivers more than 200 nationally recognised qualifications and short courses each year to over 8,000 students. Training is also offered in non-accredited programs, short courses, work-readiness programs, literacy and numeracy, and skill sets.

The annual report includes the following: Governing Council's and Managing Director's reports; Organisational structure; Performance management framework; Agency performance including operations, student outcomes, Aboriginal training and VETiS training delivery; Significant issues impacting NRT; Financial statements; and Key performance indicators.
