TAFE SA strategic capability review 2018

The Minister for Higher Education and Skills initiated the TAFE SA Strategic Capability Review in response to concerns that were raised about the performance of the organisation following adverse findings from an Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) audit in 2017. The Minister for Higher Education and Skills initiated the TAFE SA Strategic Capability Review in response to concerns that were raised about the performance of the organisation following adverse findings from an Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) audit in 2017. It has been undertaken alongside another review looking more specifically at the quality issues and processes within TAFE SA that contributed to those findings. The Review has employed the capability review framework used by the Australian Public Service, which builds on an approach applied in the United Kingdom. Accordingly, the Review has focussed on the three key dimensions of organisational capability: Leadership, Strategy and Delivery.
