Selected higher education student statistics, 1994

This publication provides selected statistics from the Department of Employment, Education and Training's higher education student collection for 1994. In general terms, the data reported provides a summary of: Numbers of students enrolled in higher education courses at 31 March 1994; The Equivalent Full-time Student Load (EFTSU) for students enrolled in higher education courses at 31 March 1994; Award Course Completions for students completing higher education award courses in 1993; and Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS) status for enrolments in higher education courses at 31 March 1994 or in the preceding Summer School.

The data reported were compiled from the annual Higher Education Student Collection conducted by the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET). The data for students undertaking higher education courses were provided by the 43 higher education institutions for which funding is provided by the Commonwealth Government.
