Artificial intelligence, automation, and the economy
Artificial intelligence (AI) driven automation will generate structural changes in the US economy and change the skills that workers will need to succeed in this new economic environment. This report argues that aggressive policy action will be needed to help those who are disadvantaged by these changes and to ensure that the considerable benefits of AI and automation are developed by and available to all. The report investigates the effects of AI-driven automation on the US job market and economy and outlines recommended policy responses.
