Contextualising foundation skills training and assessment for trainees and apprentices
This project focused on the Foundation Skills Training Package and the Australian Core Skills Framework. Through workshops and online sessions, representatives of several community organisations worked together to unpack the training package and map the content across the learning and assessment requirements of trainees and apprentices specific to their areas of industry. In addition to this, project participants reviewed resources and assessment items for validation and developed a collection of tools, reports and processes for furthering achievements in this area.
