Skill (mis)matches and over-education of younger workers

Younger workers, particularly those entering the workforce at ages 25 to 34 years of age, are more highly educated than ever before. This study investigates the extent of over-education among younger workers. It also explores the relationship between education and skills mismatch in the workforce. The research shows that most over-skilled workers have low levels of education and require fewer skills at work than they actually have.
