EPIC industry training board

This kit contains information about the Industry Training Boards (ITBs), which act as the primary source of information and advice on the training needs of their relevant industries. The operation of ITBs is governed by the Vocational Education and Training Act (Victoria). The general role of ITBs is to prepare quality training plans detailing industry skill requirements, the types of training needed by industry and to participate with national advisory bodies in accreditation and recognition processes. EPIC ITB also undertakes fee for service activities for industry and government training-related projects. This kit contains a CD-ROM providing information about career opportunities and study options for the Electrotechnology, Printing, Information Technology and Communications industries. There are information pamphlets about each industry and there are two volumes of 'EPIC News', which provides information about the industries and the ITB activities. There is also a booklet about the EPIC Industry Training Board, its vision, the industry training plan and a brief description of Victoria's Communication Industry. Show less
