Adult education participation in North America: international perspectives
This study uses information gathered from twenty countries through the International Adult Literacy Survey (IALS) to explore the factors that shape a country's capacity and willingness to provide literacy and skills development training to adults aged 16 to 65. As part of their analysis of the IALS data, the authors present fifteen indicators of participation in adult education.
