Job search experiences of older workers

This study, first published in 1995, examines the experiences of older people looking for work. It demonstrates that many older people still experience difficulties in finding and keeping work, despite anti-discrimination legislation. The study includes a number of case studies based on individual interviews with people aged from their mid-forties to 80 years of age who became unemployed and attempted to re-enter the workforce.
