South Australia's baby boomers: a profile
This report has been produced in response to recognised South Australian state government needs to plan for the future impact of the 'baby boomer' generation on society. The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) defines 'baby boomers' as those people born in the years 1946 to 1965 inclusive. The report concentrates on the characteristics of those born in this twenty year period and draws comparisons with those born up to ten years earlier in order to provide indicators of future change as the 'baby boomer' generation continues to age.
