Implementation of RPL in the Tasmanian VET sector
This publication is an evaluation of the implementation of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in Tasmania in 1995. The project brief emphasised two major objectives which evolved into separate research studies, namely: a quantified evaluation of where and to what extent and standard RPL is being implemented; and the gathering of anecdotal evidence on barriers to RPL implementation through interviews with range of stakeholders selected from registered private training providers, TAFE, employers and The Department of Industrial Relations Vocational Education and Training.
