The Commonwealth government is committed to achieving an Australian society where people with a disability can live, work and participate as valued and equal citizens. The Commonwealth Disability Strategy is an important step towards achieving that vision, by setting in place a framework of action for Commonwealth departments and agencies to progressively remove barriers for people with a disability.
