Non-English speaking background women in the community services and health industry sector
This project, based in south east Queensland, acknowledged the presence of non-English speaking background (NESB) women in low paid, unskilled or semi-skilled positions. The issue of information and access to vocational education and training (VET) programs was identified as a significant factor in restricting greater training participation rates for women.
