The relationship between training and firm performance: a literature review

By reviewing theory and previous empirical studies on the relationship between training and firm performance this article aims to advance understanding on this topic. The paper proposes a framework for analysing issues in this area, whilst describing important theoretical approaches. The analysis indicates that the relationship between training and firm performance may be mediated by employee knowledge and attitude.
