Deconstructing outreach policy: a critical examination of the discourses underlying government policy
This workshop aims to analyse critically outreach policy and provision in adult continuing higher education, by attempting to identify the political and social values which frame and inform policy on outreach initiatives. Outreach work in adult continuing higher education is aimed at widening participation in the sector and embedding this work in institutions' conventional provision.
