This project has identified and investigated the key aspects of vocational education and training (VET) for learners with special educational needs (SEN)/disabilities, aged between 14 and 25 years, with a clear link to employment opportunities. In particular, the project has analysed 'what works' in VET for learners with SEN/disabilities, 'why it works' and 'how it works'. More than 50 country experts from 26 countries have been involved in the project activities. This report has been developed as a result of a coherent and comprehensive analysis of VET practices in 28 countries examined in the course of the project. The report identifies similarities and differences in successful VET examples and provides recommendations to improve the performance of countries' VET systems in particular areas.
