Abstract:

This report examines the lives of young people. It finds that participation in full-time education has increased, but that participation in vocational education and training (VET) has decreased since its peak in 2011, and participation in non-trade apprenticeships has declined, but higher education participation has steadied. It finds that attainment at Year 12 and Certificate III or higher has steadied, but that higher education attainment has increased.
