Also known as generic skills, key skills, transversal competences, and global skills, these are skills that are developed in one context and are portable; they can be introduced to a different sociocultural or technical context. This group of skills includes generic technical skills, twenty first century skills and ‘soft skills’. Soft skills are those that are also helpful in daily life, for example team work, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, personal motivation, planning/entrepreneurial, leadership, and time management.
