This report provides the key findings and analysis of a project undertaken on behalf of the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, reviewing business support provision in England and its relationship with further education. From the perspective of an employer, ready access to appropriately skilled labour is a pre-requisite for growth. However taken in isolation, skills themselves are not sufficient to drive growth.
