Abstract:

This time series presents a summary of training activity in government-funded vocational education and training (VET) in Australia for the period 1981-2020. A timeline of major policy changes affecting VET in Australia from the mid-1970s to the present is provided to give the summary information context. The data tables which follow present student numbers by selected training characteristics for the full period 1981-2020.
