Project Agreement for the National Infection Control Training Fund

The Project Agreement for the National Infection Control Training Fund is an agreement between the Commonwealth of Australia and the states and territories of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory, and the Northern Territory. It supports the accelerated uptake of new nationally accredited Infection Prevention and Control Training skills sets or equivalent nationally accredited training. The output of this Agreement will be at least 80,000 fee-free (or very low cost) nationally accredited infection prevention and control training places (or equivalent, including accredited skill sets for priority workers that include infection control as a core component). The agreement expires on 30 June 2021.
