Premier's Economic and Social Recovery Advisory Council interim report

The Premier's Economic and Social Recovery Advisory Council (PESRAC) delivered its interim report to the Tasmanian Premier on 20 July 2020. The interim report provides an overview of the economic and social impacts of [Coronavirus Disease 2019] COVID-19 and outlines the Council's recommendations with regard to the recovery journey and its immediate priorities. The report has been informed by: published and unpublished data and information available; targeted consultation with Government agencies and peak bodies; and additional information contained in other submissions.

The report includes: an introduction to the Council's Work, overview of recommendations and immediate priorities; the current situation; suppressing COVID-19; the economic and social impact of COVID-19; the government's response to COVID-19; the recovery journey and immediate priorities. The report includes 64 recommendations, with a compiled list included as Appendix 1. Twelve recommendations for immediate action are signalled by a blue star.
